The T700-701D

Latest Advancement

The -701D is the latest advancement in the T700's kit upgrade program.

Engine Overview

As the newest T700 kit upgrade program, the T700-701D injects the latest technologies into engines that have operated successfully in the field.

The U.S. Army's program to upgrade its fleet of UH-60A and -60L Black Hawk helicopters to the UH-60M configuration includes upgrading the aircraft's T700-GE-700 engines, using GE kits, to the more powerful and durable T700-GE-701D configuration.

While maintaining a high commonality to the T700-701C, the -701D represents an affordable approach to increasing the performance and durability of these proven engines.

The T700-701D upgrade is an example of GE's continuing commitment to improve its engines through the infusion of new technologies and materials developed for its other military and commercial engines. T700-701D engines are to be delivered later this year for flight testing.

The T700-701D will power the newest Sikorsky UH-60M Black Hawk and Boeing Apache Block III.
