Jack Ryan

Jack F. Ryan

Jack F. Ryan is vice president of human resources for GE Aviation.

Ryan joined GE in 1989 on the Human Resource Management Program and held roles of increasing responsibility with Aviation in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Wilmington, North Carolina. In August 1995, he was named Aviation's manager of recruiting and employment practices. In March 1997, Ryan accepted the role of human resources manager for Aviation's Commercial Engines Operation and also served as co-chair of Aviation's Diversity Council.

In August 1999, he was named HR manager for GE Industrial Systems Solutions business, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2000, Ryan led the Honeywell HR integration for Industrial Systems. He returned to the Aviation business in 2001 as senior manager of human resources for the Services organization and held this role until his July 2005 appointment as senior manager of human resources for the Aviation business. He was appointed to his current role in July 2006.

A native of Albany, N.Y., Ryan is a 1989 graduate of Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
