David L. Joyce is vice president and general manager, commercial engines for GE Aviation.
Joyce joined GE Aviation in the Engineering Development Program in 1980 and has experience in turbomachinery and control systems design.
He also worked as the manager of engineering quality & processes and Master Black Belt for the GE Aviation's Engineering Division and as general manager of customer and product support operations.
Most recently, Joyce served general manager of small commercial engine operation and was named to his current role in November 2002.
He has a bachelor and master's degree from Michigan State University and an MBA in Finance from Xavier University.
